Hello families and friends. We’ve been doing many things, so we haven’t had much time to write you.
On Sunday, we watched the Euro final match together with our Italian, Greek, Montenegro, Khazajastan… friends.
On Monday we took our placement test and played sport on the amazing fields they’ve got here. On Tuesday we had our first spoken English classes (since then, we have classes every morning) and met our classmates from different European countries. In the afternoon, we visited Leeds Castle and had fun in its huge maze. Do you know who was the first one in finding the exit? Our friend Jorge Iborra, and he won a chocolate medal. On Wednesday, apart from classes, we played sports and watched a film at the cinema. But the funniest day was Thursday, after the morning classes we went to the beach in Broadstairs. We swam in the cold, cold sea, and also learnt a lot about Charles Dickens life and works because Broadstairs is Dicken’s birthplace. At night we took part on a talent show and performed the theatre plays we had written in the morning classes.
We hope you’re having as much fun as we are.
Hugs and kisses from Canterbury.
