La Comarcal Summer School has finally come to an end. We hope you enjoy your holidays and get ready for the next academic year. This month we have had such great moments that we will never forget our summer mates and all the activities we have taken part in: gardening, cooking, spoken English, popular games, arts and crafts and so on. Before saying goodbye, we would like to thank you for your constant support and trust. We hope to see you next year at La Comarcal Summer School, which will be even better (if it is possible!!)

Acabem el mes de juliol amb les obres de l’edifici de Secundària en la fase final. El mes d’agost continuaran treballant per tenir-ho tot a punt per al mes de setembre. L’empresa constructora està fent un treball de categoria i l’arquitecta i l’aparellador supervisen setmanalment tot el treball. De debò que es un bon treball d’equip.  Aquesta setmana l’arquitecta de Conselleria ens ha visitat i ens ha  felicitat pel projecte arquitectònic i d’instal•lacions.  Continuarem informant desprès de les vacances.

CALENDARI ESCOLAR CURS 2011-2012

We have done lots of things since last Tuesday. We started our arts project: an amazing photo frame. We have also had English lessons in which we have played bingo, we have learnt some new vocabulary about forests and fairy tales and we have also had the visit of a story teller. Of course, we have had great fun playing water games as always. First thing this morning, we learnt how to make a delicious dessert with fruits and puff pastry. We hope you like it!

   2011 is the international year of forests and as such the Summer School is devoting this week to nature. This morning we have started our still life painting by blowing paint into our canvas. We have had great fun!! Then, as it was cold and we couldn’t swim, we have played popular games in the Primary playground. After having lunch, we have played some computer games.

Yesterday we had a fantastic cooking lesson. We made a cake and then we ate it for dessert. We also had Claudia’s birthday party. We also played water games and painted our masks.
Today it’s raining so we haven’t played water games but we have also had good fun. We have made a clown mobile, played computer games and done some exercises at the psychomotor class. Then, our mate Vicent has read us a tale.

Last night we camped in the Woods looking for aliens. We played many games, we watched a film and then we had a disco.
Dancing, fancy dress, looking for the moon and many more exciting astronomic activities.
Today is our last day. We say goodbye to the summer school 2011. We have enjoyed being hippies, spies and astronauts this year, let’s see what is going to happen next school term.

Although we play water games everyday, today the Kindergarten Summer School has been to the swimming pool in El Vedat. After having breakfast, we have put on our swimming suits and the sun cream and made our journey to the pool. We have had fun in the slides, the frog… and our swimming pool was like a beach!!
